Liverpool hope to burn off competition for Stromsgodset midfielder Martin Odegaard.
Odegaard, linked with Manchester United and Barcelona, has become the youngest player in the history of the European Championships.
He came on as a substitute in Norway's 2-1 victory over Bulgaria.
The Daily Mail says Liverpool are keen on the Stromsgodset star, aware that Martin and his father Hans-Erik are lifelong Reds supporters.
